My favorite cheesecake recipe ever!!

I tweaked it a little from what it used to be, but that’s what I do.

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of my cheesecake being that I finished making it at 2 in the morning and the cake itself disappeared in like a second!

My advice for you is to make sure you get FIVE packages of cream cheese!

I totally misread my own recipe and did not get enough.

Being in Keenesburg Colorado at midnight and trying to find an open grocery store near us was slim.

So instead we called a friend for a couple packets of cream cheese and thankfully he had what I needed.

 Make sure you have everything you need and enjoy my cheesecake!

:: Ingredients ::

1 cup of Nilla Wafers (crushed)

3 tbsp of sugar

2 tbsp butter (melted)

5 packages of 8oz cream cheese packets

1 cup of sugar

3 tbsp of flour

1 tbsp of vanilla

3 eggs

1 cup of sour cream

Step 1 – Mix together the top three items (wafers, sugar & butter)

Step 2 – Spray a 9 inch cheesecake pan and compact the mix to the bottom of it

Step 3 – Preheat oven to 350′ and bake the crust for 10 minutes

Set aside to cool

Step 4 – Cream all five packages of cream cheese together, once it is smooth add the sugar, flour and vanilla little by little

Step 5 – One by one add the eggs, then the sour cream

Step 6 – Respray the sides of pan with the crust and then pour the cream cheese mixture into the pan

Step 7 – With the oven still set to 350′ bake the cake for 1 hour

Set it aside to cool when done

Step 9 – Once it has cooled place the cheesecake in the fridge for 4 hours

Slice it up AND spice it up with fruit, honey, syrup, or jam on top.

Enjoy it!
